I exclusively used iPhone. When I moved to Budapest from the countryside, the metro scared me. It heavily affected my pulse, I could feel the vibration in my bones. Many years passed by, but I never really focused on the travelers around me.
One thing is sure about metro line 3: people put on sort of a meditative, defensive behavior. They do not sleep, they do not brood, they just lock themselves in. With time, I started to a play a game: I wanted to see if I was able to look into their eyes and gaze with them. And while looking into their eyes, I clicked. I have been taking photos for more than one year, and I started to focus on the clothes, the poises of hands, the geometrics of the old soviet metros.
It became an unblushing material.
